Orthev is a Depressive Suicidal Black Metal band with elements of vampirism and medieval fantasy founded in early 2021, idealized by Mourning Count (Vocalist) and Elf (Ex-Guitarist) the band aims to trace a psychological journey in the life story of each of the members, translating their traumas into songs that indirectly report each of these sufferings through a ritualistic and misanthropic vision of the world, drawing on sources of popular imagination and classical literature.
Performed under pseudonyms, each member of the band has an alter-ego based on their own life story.
Current Formation:
Mourning Count - Vocalist/Lyricist
The Ghost - Guitarist
Queen Lolth - Bassist
Half-Orc - Drummer
Mourning Count (Vocalist) & Queen Lolth (bassist)

Queen Lolth (Bass) Mourning Count (Vocals) Lycanthrope (Guitars) and Half-Orc (Drums)
Having its members located in Belém-PA, the band is one of the pioneers in the DSBM genre in the state of Pará, digging up in the middle of the Amazon rainforest.
The name means expressionlessness and emptiness in a non-existent language, with the idea of focusing on the suffering of the members themselves, it has an intimate and personal view in its lyrics, talking about psychological problems in an indirect and figurative way.
The main bands that inspired us were Xasthur, Nocturnal Depression, Psychonaut 4, Kekht Arakh and Happy Days, also drinking from Ambient and Doom Metal.
Our aesthetic influence is based on classic vampire films and Les Legions Noire.
We are currently within the Podrera Records label

Members/Pseudonyms
1. Mourning Count

Who are you and what is your relationship with the pseudonym?
I'm A.N. I sing and write most of Orthev's lyrics, in addition to being a gothic author.
Orthev and Conde came to me as an insight into something I was looking for within Black Metal: The mvampirism mixture, fantasy and my darkest feelings.
I've dealt with darkness since I was a child, and the band is for me more than an artistic medium, but a way of dealing with my traumas, mainly in relation to abuse, self-injury and my own depression.

Who is Mourning Count?
A medieval Count of the Carpathians, troubled by his own vampiric nature.
Its story boils down to a misanthropic creature that isolates itself in a tower afters the death of his wife, by denying the trinity he becomes a vampire and starts to live in eternal agony in his tower in a frozen and inhospitable land.
He commits suicide by hypothermia when he falls in love again and has unrequited love, his body is found in the forest centuries later and he becomes the lead singer of Orthev, singing about his regrets.
Its story is inspired by Hamlet and Dracula.
His appearance is based on the Corpse-paints from Les Legiões Noire, the Crying Orc himself, and Alucard from the Castlevania franchise. The paintingra symbolizes your pain and tries to imitate your death by freezing.

O videoclipe e o Single
Immortal
